This last week our family spent a day in Galveston. Our goal as parents is to have a monthly family fun day. This is usually around an experience to create memories. Creating memories is not only important in life; it is important to create memories in business.

How do you create memories in business?

    1. Focus on building relationships. No matter what business you run, you are in the business of creating relationships. Relationships create trust. Trust creates loyal customers and clients. Relationships matter. How are you focused on building relationships in your business?

    2. Market to stay memorable. There is so much noise today created by social media, blogs, websites, media, etc. What are you doing to cut through the noise? Are you telling your story? Stories matter, and you don't want others to tell your story for you. Have you thought about using video? Are you supplying a monthly newsletter packed with value? The Importance of Taking a Time Out - Galveston, TX Spring Break 2019

When coaching my clients over the years, I've stressed the importance of making sure leisure time and travel is part of your calendar. In fact, scheduling this time should happen before anything else, or you will never take the time out for yourself and family. As important as your work, if not more important, is being refreshed and slowing down to smell the roses. Following time out of work, you will find yourself more productive when you get back, and you will begin to look at things with a different perspective. So make sure you get your next trip booked soon. It may be the thing you need to happen to spark your business and take it to the next level.
