Don't Be the 87%
Are you doing less than 20 real estate transactions a year? Is that support promised by your broker not showing up? That is exactly why we should be having a conversation about coaching.
In 2014, the National Association of REALTORS® conducted a study finding that nearly 87% of real estate agents were completely out of the business within 5 years. This number has not changed that much over time. This means only 13% of the industry is getting the results they need to stay in business. While the first group mentioned is discouraging, realize you don't have to be in that group. You simply need to hire a coach like myself that has the experience and results of working with real estate agents at all levels of the business. You too can be a part of that 13%.
I entered the profession of coaching real estate agents in 2010. Why? I chose this profession because I was tired of people taking the huge risk of starting a business, putting their family at risk, and failing out of a business that television glorifies as easy. I've been able to observe the behaviors and habits developed by the most successful in the industry. I've identified what works and doesn't work. This information I pour into my clients mitigating the risk of owning and operating a real estate business.
I don't take my business lightly, and neither should you. There are a million things you can invest into that are constantly being shoved your way by various companies. Most of these are quick fixes, yet they don't last. If you're not changing your thinking, feelings around things, or the actions you take, you are placing yourself at risk of being in that 87%. I don't want to see you there, and I know that is not your intention.
