Dr. Hamel can be best described as a caring, compassionate chiropractor who loves to help his patients get healthier and pain free. He has been dedicated to his profession, community and being the healthiest and best version of himself so that he can continue to help others.
Dr. Hamel has lived in the Kingwood area since 2002, he is originally from Vancouver BC, Canada which he left in 1993 to pursue his education in Missouri and then chiropractic college in Portland, Oregon. He is a member of the Texas Chiropractic Association. Dr. Hamel is the only level 3 medical professional certified by the Titleist Performance Institute, he really enjoys treating golfers, tennis players and other athletes to maximize their performance and minimize injuries.
Dr. Hamel is married to his wife Lori and has a stepson Connor. His hobbies include tennis, pickleball and golf, he used to play professional handball from 1997-2018 and had an opportunity to travel around the world.
Dr. Hamel definitely practices what he preaches, he is fully immersed in the health and wellness lifestyle, he exercises every day, eats healthy, takes supplements, meditates and makes sure he gets enough rest. Dr. Hamel and his family are members at the Kingwood Country Club, he is a board member who helps organize events for tennis and pickleball inside and outside of the club.
When you are a chiropractic patient of Dr. Hamel's, he makes sure that you feel listened to and will give specific recommendations based on your health history and symptoms. He is always available face to face in the office or by TEXT from the comfort of your home. Every patient who comes in will ONLY see Dr. Hamel, because of this he really gets to tailor his treatment to each individual. Each patient is a valued client and they really matter to Dr. Hamel, he will do everything he can to help his patients, if he can't help them, he will refer them to another doctor who can.
