Treat Lead Generation Like Game 7 of the World Series

Are you treating lead generation in your business like you would treat tickets to tonight's Game 7 of the World Series? You're probably thinking what one has to do with the other so let me explain.

You spend a huge amount of money, or given tickets (I'm here if you've got any available) to Game 7 to watch the Astros defeat the Nationals. Whether it is for the experience, or the large amount of money you dropped, you're not going to let anything disrupt that time. You're not answering your phone. You're not checking email and responding. You're not planning 2020 goals in the seats during the game. You're locked in, and 100% committed to rooting on your favorite team.

Why do so many not treat lead generation in their businesses the same way? Lead generation should be a business owner's Game 7 every single day. No disruptions for a period of time scheduled on your calendar and committed to generating the next piece of business. If you're consistent, you will crush your goals in a year. If you're consistent for 5 years, you will be an empire builder. Give lead generation the respect it deserves.

If this truth speaks to you, and you believe others need to hear it, 'Share' using the social media share buttons at the top of this post. I would also love to hear your thoughts and feelings on this topic.
