A Polar Vortex Mindset Shift

Texas is getting a beat down by this once in a generation Polar Vortex bringing ice, snow, and frigid temperatures. The electric grid has failed leaving over 2 Million Texans without power and in some cases without water due to frozen pipes. The kids are at home after already being off all of last week for their February break, and they are a little stir crazy.

Is my mindset being tested? Absolutely.

I have to admit as strong a mindset as I've built over the years. Today has tested it to some extent. When I realized mindset was off the rails, I knew I had to get centered.

I poured into my work, my client coaching conversations, knocked off some big projects that have been looming in the background. I put myself into action thus changing the way I felt about the day, and forced a change in my thinking. Mindset can be changed by simply getting into action.
