When you hire a coach in your business, you know you're going to get coached up on life as well. That is exactly what happened on Monday with my phenomenal coach, Peter Weller. Realizing one of my personal challenges has been my health, he began to pry, dig, and ask questions that helped me to see that it's time to put my stake in the ground, and to take care of myself. Initially sounding selfish, I realized what Peter was really helping me focus on was to be my personal best so that I could continue to pour into the lives of others and my family. When viewing life and business from this perspective, it lit a fire under me, and Peter then challenged me to take people along with me on my journey to a healthier life. Keep reading...

I've not always been unhealthy. At one point in my life I was really fit. Focus misplaced, the lbs began to show up, and I not addressing the issue, time got the better of me. What is awesome, is just like I coach my business clients that everything is a choice. Living a healthy life is a choice, and I choose to be healthy in my Spiritual life, family life, and business life. I owe it to others, and more importantly I owe it to myself.

I was sharing with Peter the loss of close individuals in the recent years that went well before their time, which has shaped my thinking around taking this journey. I don't know my years on earth, only God knows this, yet I do know I want to make the most out of the time spent here with my family, friends, and clients.

Basically, I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. This journey is my journey, and no one else's journey, and I know that the accountability that comes with creating transparency. I also know that I might be a small light, a bit of encouragement for someone else that may be struggling in this area of their life (though health impacts all areas of our lives). Join my Facebook Group where we can encourage one another, 'Subscribe' to my YouTube channel to get my latest videos, or just sit back with some popcorn and watch as I crush this goal.

A few weeks ago, I hit my all-time low, or high depending on how you look at it, of 278 lbs. Today I am already at 266 lbs as I've focused on adjusting my food intake and increased my physical activity (10,000+ steps). I am not going to promote juicing, specialty diets, HCG treatments, etc. This journey will be focused on making better choices. It makes me laugh inside knowing that it is all about choices.

What is beautiful about this journey, and I know it won't be easy, is that focusing on this will make me an even better coach with more to give to those that have entrusted me. So buckle up, and I can't wait to see how we might all grow together through this experience.

I forgot to place my healthy, frozen prepared meal from H-E-B into the refrigerator last night to be thawed by lunch today. So I had to make a fast food run. As you will see in the video, Whatachoice I made. Not the best choice, yet a better choice despite the circumstances. #WhatTheHealth
