The perfect Labor Day post is a post about work.
Proverbs 21:5 says, "Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty." In other words, good things take time, and if you rush it, prepare for it to all fall apart.
Stop rushing for success. Success is incremental, and it is definitely not a straight line. You are going to need to put in the work. Just do the work. I can't believe how simple the concept, yet few will choose to do the work.
Your caveat moving forward in the week. If anyone is telling you that you can shortcut something, run. It's going to require work. This applies not only to work. It applies to digging yourself out of debt, writing a book, losing weight, investing, and I can go on and on.
Create your plan, and work the plan. Work hard. Working hard often is confused with sacrificing time with family and friends. That is a lie. Work hard in the hours allotted. This does not mean work 24-7. Create a schedule and follow the schedule. For those that have taken a training or coached with me, I share the acronym of L.I.F.E.
On this Labor Day, if you have chosen to work, kudos to you. For those that have chosen to refresh, right on! Just remember as you go about the days ahead, "good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to poverty." (Proverbs 21:5)
If I can help you in your business, I do have a couple slots available. Let's have a conversation to see if coaching is right for you and your business. It costs you nothing to have that conversation, and who knows where it might lead on your journey to success. You can call me at 281-387-7689 (that's me...no assistant...no appointment setter) or email [email protected].
Onward and Upward,
